How UseTok works
UseTok connects a token’s creator fees to the TikTok account behind a public profile, video, or live.
The account id is the anchor
Handles, names, and avatars change. The TikTok account id is the recipient that should stay put. A video or live resolves to the account that posted it. Deleting that video does not move an existing balance to a different account.
Launch venue
The create screen uses Pump on Solana. UseTok launches from the platform wallet, so creator fees accrue there until the account claims. Supply, launch fees, and graduation rules belong to Pump and can change.
Fee routing
Each token stores the mint, the TikTok account id, the venue, and the fee setup from registration.
- Trading creates venue fees under Pump rules.
- Every claimed fee splits 80 / 20. 80 percent belongs to the account. 20 percent funds the UseTok reserve, which pays for claim transactions, swaps, and operations.
- If the account has a tip link UseTok can pay, the share is sent there. Otherwise it is held against the account id until the creator verifies and claims.
- Payments shows the token, the account, the amount, the asset, and the status.
Verification
No UseTok account is required. The creator asks for a one time phrase, puts it in the public bio, and UseTok checks that the phrase is on the expected account id. After the check, the phrase can come out of the bio. A new display name does not wipe a verified account id.
Creator claims
The verified owner chooses the wallet. The payout is USDC or SOL on Solana, and UseTok covers the network fee.
- Held. No tip link yet. Waiting for the owner. Held balances do not expire.
- Sent. Paid to the tip link.
- Claimed. Paid to the wallet they chose, with a transaction reference.
New payout destinations wait through a cooldown. Large or rapid payouts are held for review.
Wallet safety
UseTok should never ask for a seed phrase or a private key. A wallet connection only exposes the public account you pick. Every launch or claim is approved in the wallet. Confirm Solana before you sign. Check the name, the ticker, the image, the source link, and the fee recipient. Token creation can be irreversible.
Risk
Creator coins can be volatile, thin, copied, or go to zero. A TikTok reference or a verified claim does not mean the creator launched the coin, endorsed it, or recommends it. Names and pictures can be copied. The token address is the durable on chain identifier.
Creator opt out
A creator can ask for their profile to be hidden from discovery. Opting out does not erase tokens other people already created on chain. It can stop new UseTok attribution and pull the profile off public surfaces. Required accounting records stay.
